Comments:

INCOME: Other participating fees due to applications received from additional ExCBs and ExTLs

EXPENDITURE:

1) Generally according to budget, except for meeting/travel expenses and Salaries due to increased level of activity by the Secretariat primarily related to the introduction of the IECEx “On-Line” Certificate of Conformity System. These expenses were off set by the following items, which were well below budget:-

  • 47100
  • 47900
  • 47920
  • 48000

With the short fall to be covered by the General Reserve.

2) As a means of minimising costs, Secretariat travel is coordinated with IECEx assessments resulting in a reduction in travel costs to both Scheme and applicant ExCB and ExTLs.

3) Additional travel costs due to Officers decision for IECEx Secretary to attend 2003 Tokyo meeting of Industry forum, ICSCA to present IECEx. Not known when preparing 2003 Budget.

4) Audited accounts detailed in ExMC/188/Inf
