Many many Thanks to everybody who helped make this third race in memory of Andrew a success, all my helpers who I have named below and all the riders who entered. Please spread the word for next year to help increase the entrants and I can increase the prize pot to more riders. It will be roughly the same weekend. I again put on a good prize fund which this year was £150 plus the 3 main trophies and the 9 keepsake trophies! I will increase this next year if the numbers are higher!

I think Andrew was looking down on us once again, as always, with the weather!

The 3rd ‘Andrew Ridsdale Memorial Race 2015’

Andrew was participating in our open event on 18th March 2012 when he was struck by a vehicle from behind resulting in the tragic loss of his life.

It was from conversations with Andrews friends and family that proceeds from that event and our subsequent event in September, we would put the proceeds to trophies in his honour.

We have commissioned 3 trophies - Fastest, Handicap and Vets on standard. These will be engraved each year with the winner’s time and name. The winners of each trophy will also receive a small trophy to keep.
