Please explain why you would like to become a Project WET facilitator?

Participants will be called for a brief phone interview sometime during the week of February 5-9, 2018. This interview will be used to assess your interest and needs in leading future WET workshops. Participants will be informed of their acceptance by February 14.

I look forward to hearing back from you! This will be a fun opportunity to meet you and other educators from around the state!

Things to Keep in Mind:

Attending a Project WET workshop within 1 year is a prerequisite to this training. There will be a Project WET workshop at the same site on March 6, 2018 from 10:00-4:00.

The Facilitator Training will cost $30. It does not cover travel or lodging to and from the workshop. It will be on March 7 from 9:00-4:00.

Please remember that you are committing to lead two workshops over the next three years as part of becoming a facilitator. This is not optional, so you must have a serious interest in promoting these workshops to others in order to attend.

Overnight and workshop accommodations will be at Morrow Mountain State Park in Albemarle, NC. We will have a great time, including some wonderful networking opportunities and workshop make-and-takes.

You willneed to provide your linens if you do choose to stay overnight.

A breakfast and lunch will be included in the workshop. It wouldn’t hurt to bring your own snacks too. All efforts will be made to provide food to accommodate vegetarians as well as omnivores. If you have special dietary needs, you may wish to supplement the provided meals and snacks with your own supplies.
