Outer Space – Foam Rocket on paper

BACKGROUND

WHAT TO DO

Foam Rocket on Paper

1.  Hand out a piece of black construction paper to youth.

2.  Hand out strips of foam to youth.

3.  Cut the foam into small rectangles.

4.  Glue the rectangles on the paper to form a rectangle tower.

5.  Cut out two small triangles, two big triangles, and a skinny rectangle.

6.  Glue the big rectangles on the sides of the tower at the bottom, and glue the two small triangles on top with the skinny rectangle between them.

7.  Glue ribbons at the bottom of the rocket to look like flames.

8.  Use star stickers on open space on the black paper.
