Program/Service Challenges (source: Faculty/Dir/Coord/Dean)
It continues to be difficult to keep an adjunct counselor. During the 13-14 academic year there was a vacancy in the counselor position for ¾ of the year. The program can only support this position at half-time status. Staff will likely continue to turn over as they are recruited into full-time jobs.
The program budget was cut 5.23% for the 13-14 year. This is in addition to the 3.1% cut realized in the 11-12 and 12-13. At the same time, the campus approved a 3% increase in salaries for all employees.
Program/Service Objectives/Goals for 2014-15 (source: Faculty/Dir/Coord/Dean)
1.  Program will meet all student success goals listed in the grant with relation to retention, good academic standing, graduation and transfer.
2.  Program will improve service delivery to participants. (measured by percentage of participation in each service compared to previous year)
