  1. To send in advance a DVD (made without editing) with a recording of 6–7 pieces of different characters.
  2. At the arrival to perform no less than 2 vocal pieces.

  1. 3 arias (Russian, Belarusian or European composer).

Program to enter the Preliminary Course (first year studies):

  1. J.S. Bach. One cycle from the “WTC”.
  2. J.S. Bach. One Invention of the three voices “Inventions”.
  3. The part “Sonata Allegro” from the Sonatas by J.Haydn, W.A.Mozart, L.vanBeethoven, M.Clementi, F.Schubert.
  4. Piece of a cantilena character.
  5. An etude (by K.Cherny, M.Clementi, M.Moszkowski, except F.List and F.Chopin).

Program to enter the third year studies:

  1. The polyphony work (J.S.Bach, D.Shostakovich, R.Schedrin, P.Hindemith).
  2. Any sonata (on the whole).
  3. 2 etudes.

Performance skill level should be good enough and the program should include pieces from the world recognized repertoire.

Specialty “Composition”

Program to enter the Preliminary Course (first yearstudies):

  1. Composition: to demonstrate not less than 5 various opuses (vocal andinstrumental) in minor forms.
  2. Solfeggio: to write two-lines dictation with a developed voices.
  3. Harmony: to make a harmony exercise with deviations in a keys of I degree-affinity.

Program to enter the third year studies:

  1. Composition: to demonstrate no less than 5 various opuses (vocal and instrumental), two of them should be written in large forms (Variations, Rondo).
  2. Harmony: to make a harmony exercise with deviations and modulations into the keys I degree-affinity.
  3. Poliphony: to have a presentation about the strict polyphony style.

Program to enter the Master Course:

  1. Composition: to demonstrate a large orchestra (vocal-symphonic) or chamber-instrumental (vocal-instrumental) piece.
  2. Poliphony: to write a simple Fuge of three voices.

Specialty “Violin”

Program to enter the Preliminary Course (first year studies):

  1. One scale.
  2. One etude.
  3. A piece in large form (a part of a Concerto or ancient sonata).

Program to enter the third year studies:

  1. Polyphony piece (two parts from the Fantasy by G.-F.Telemann or from the Sonatas and Partites by J.S.Bach for solo violin.

Program to enter the Master Course:

  1. IIIII parts from one of the the Sonata or Partita of J.S.Bach for violin solo.
  2. Piece in large form.
  3. Virtuosic piece.

On graduating from the Master Course one should submit a Master Dissertation and perform a concert program of 50–60 min. duration.

Specialty “The wood wind instruments”

Program to enter the Preliminary Course (first year studies):

  1. Sonata or Concert by a classical composer.
  2. A piece by a modern composer.

Program to enter thethird year studies:

  1. The whole of a piece in a large form.
  2. A piece of a virtuosic characterby a foreign composer.

Program to enter the Master Course:

  1. A piece by a classical composer.
  2. A piece by a foreign modern composer.
  3. Any piece of virtuosic character.

Specialty “The brass wind and percussion instruments”

Program to enter the Preliminary Course (first year studies):

  1. Sonata or Concert of a classical composer.
  2. A piece by a modern composer.

Program to enter thethird year studies:

  1. The whole of a piece in a large form.
  2. A piece of virtuosic character by a foreign composer.
  3. A piece of cantilena character;

Program to enter the Master Course:

  1. A piece of a classical composer.
  2. A piece of a foreign modern composer.
  3. A piece of virtuoso character.
  4. A piece of cantilena character.

Specialty “The percussion instruments”

Program to enter the Preliminary Course (first year studies):

Marimba:

  1. A piece of cantilena character (tremolo)
  2. A piece of virtuoso character.

Kettle drum:

A piece which meets possibilities of this instrument.

Small drum:

A piece which meets possibilities of this instrument.

Program to enter the Master Course:

One should demonstrate the skill of playing on the above mentioned instruments and multipercussia.
