Torbjørn Skogsrød, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Economy and Management, Gjøvik University College

Torbjørn Skogsrød is responsible for the Faculty for Technology, and Industrial economics at Gjøvik University College. The department offer different kinds of educations within engineering and industrial economics, both bachelor and master degrees. The department has a good research activity, and is participating in several international research projects. Torbjørn Skogsrød has also a background from industrial companies and has worked as managing director in several international industrialcompanies.

Kristian Martinsen, Professor of the Faculty of Technology, Economy and Management, Gjøvik University College

Kristian Martinsen is a Professor in Manufacturing Technology and is responsible for the new master degree programme in Sustainable Manufacturing at Gjøvik University College. His focus is on manufacturing systems and processes with emphasis on measuring, machining and automated assembly. He is the supervisor for 5 PhD candidates with focus on Lean Manufacturing, Product and process development, robust design and Information Systems in Manufacturing. Martinsen has 15 years experience from manufacturing industry

Professor Rune Bakke, Professor of Environmental Engineering, Telemark University College

M.Sc. and Ph.D. degreesin from Montana StateUniversity in 1983 and1986, respectively.Associate Professor atStavanger University from1986 - 1994.Professor at TelemarkUniversity College (TUC)since 1994. Part timepositions at appliedresearch institutes since1988 (Rogaland ResearchInstitute and TelemarkTechnological R&D). Various board positions inpublic/government sectorand in private companies. Research focus is on biological processes for resource recovery fromwastewater and wet organic solid waste. Publications on biofilmresearch, wetland systems, nutrient recovery and biogas processes.Tools include mathematical simulations, lab scale experimentation and full-scale field test.

Professor Saba Mylvaganam, Professor of Process Measurements, Telemark University College

Saba Mylvaganam has BSc (Hons) from University of Moratuwa, Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. From the Technische Universität Berlin, Master of International Business (MIB) from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, Bergen.

Currently Professor in Process Measurements in Telemark University College

Tel-tek: In the capacity of a researcher in adjunct position, as the program manager for a strategic institute program (SIP) funded by the Research Council of Norway and the industry called MULTIPROCON

Has been involved in international collaborations in all the institutions named above through different projects and networks. At TUC, he is involved in different EU thematic networks.

His research interests are in wave phenomena based measurements, especially using microwaves, optics and ultrasonics and extending to sensor networks and inferential methods in sensor data fusion.
