Chairman

Professor SHAW Pang-chui

- Professor SHAW Pang-chui is the professor and Director of Biochemistry Programme, School of Life Sciences, Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests cover structure-function studies of proteins, and authentication, quality control and pharmacological studies of Chinese medicinal materials. He served as a member of the ESAC from October 2001 to September 2006.

Ms. CHAN Chiu-ling, Ophelia, B.B.S.

-  Ms. CHAN Chiu-ling, Ophelia, B.B.S. is a member of the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, Labour and Welfare Bureau; the Hospital Governing Committee, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital; the Special Committee on Elderly Housing, Dental Council; and the Community Care Fund Task Force, Commission on Poverty. She was formerly an Assistant Director of the Social Welfare Department.

Mr. CHAN Wing-suen

-  Mr. CHAN Wing-suen is the founding chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Industry Association, the honorary chairman of the Hong Kong Yee Yee Tong Chinese Medicine Merchants Association, and the vice chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Prepared Medicine Traders Association.

Dr. CHEUNG Siu-gin

-  Dr. CHEUNG Siu-gin is an Associate Professor of the Department of Biology and Chemistry, City University of Hong Kong. His research interests and specialism include ecology and conservation of marine habitats and endangered species, and effects of environmental stressors on marine organisms. He served as a co-opted member of the Country Parks Committee under the Country and Marine Parks Board from September 2005 to August 2011. He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of the Sustainable Fisheries Development Fund.

Dr. CHIU Sein-tuck

- Dr. CHIU Sein-tuck is the Special Projects Manager, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden. He is an alternate member of the Kadoorie Agricultural Aid Loan Fund Committee and a member of Friends of The Country Parks.

Professor LEUNG Mei-yee, Kenneth

- Professor Kenneth Mei-yee LEUNG is the Professor of Aquatic Ecology and Ecotoxicology at the Swire Institute of Marine Science and the School of Biological Sciences, and the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, The University of Hong Kong. Currently he is the Chairman of the Marine Mammal Conservation Working Group, and a member of the Red Tide/ Harmful Algal Bloom Expert Advisory Group and the Genetically Modified Organisms (Control of Release) Expert Group, and a co-opted member of the Marine Parks Committee under the Country and Marine Parks Board. . He also serves as a member of the Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene.

Ms. LO Lai-shan, Erica

Mr. TSANG Kwok-keung

- Mr. TSANG Kwok-keung is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Florists Association, the Financial Controller of the H.K. & Kln. Flowers & Plants Workers General Union, the Executive Director of the Federation of Hong Kong Agricultural Associations, and a member of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Election Committee (Agriculture and Fisheries) (1998-2016).

Ms. WONG Siu-ling, Gabriella, M.H.

-  Ms. Gabriella Wong Siu-ling has extensive experience in the welfare sector, with supervisory and administrative practice in diverse service fields. She has served on various Government and academic advisory bodies and is currently a member of the Family Council.

Ms. YU Li-hua

- Ms. YU Li-hua is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Professional Tourist Guider General Union, the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Industry Employees General Union, the Deputy General Manager of the Joint Smart International Travel Ltd, and the Vice-Director of the Taiwan Rural Accommodation Association.

Professor ZHAO Zhong-zhen, M.H.

-  Professor ZHAO Zhong-zhen, M.H. is the Associate Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University, an International Advisor of the HK Standard of Chinese Materia Medica, Department of Health, a member of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia Committee, and an Honorary Consultant of the Department of Health.
