Each nomination must be made by at least two people, including one full time teaching staff member and at least one student or former undergraduate student (but not the nominee him/herself). Former students must have studied within the last five years. The Director of Undergraduate Studies or Director of Postgraduate Studies must verify that the nominee is a current student.

· Nomination is open to all current students – undergraduates and postgraduates. Both individual and small team nominations will be considered.
· Nominations must be submitted on this nomination form and must include the reasons for supporting the nominee(s).
THE REASONS FOR NOMINATING THIS PERSON/THESE PEOPLE FOR AN AWARD ARE SET OUT BELOW:
Please limit the nomination to at most two pages; identify the nature of the achievement(s) and provide evidence based on the following criteria:
· Contribution to (or creation of) student experience related to (but beyond) their curriculum or professional engineering practice
· OR Contribution to student learning through curriculum related activities such as, UTAs, buddy schemes, revision notes support, on-line resource development
· OR Novel Outreach or Public Engagement Activities to share Engineering concepts and practice beyond the College
· OR Develop enterprise activities, translating ideas into reality, through actions and endeavours, creating new ventures from Engineering concepts
· AND In all cases make a contribution that has a wide impact which demonstrates commitment, achievement, innovation, skill development and sustained effort over time. Nominated students must not have received academic credit or have been paid for any activity contained in a nomination, the awards are to recognise volunteer activities.
