(i)Synthesis and characterizations of photocatalyst and their industrial applications.

(ii)Preparation of nano-material (Al, Ni, Cr alloy) for thermal barrier coating

(iii)Study of the dynamics of excited multiple states of molecules specially the biologically active molecules (porphyrins, phthalocyanines, etc.), with radical/s system by using spectroscopic techniques such as high frequency Time resolved EPR, transient absorption etc.

(iv)Excited triplet states properties of organic and organometallic compounds by CW and Time resolved EPR, and theoretical calculation of Zero field ESR parameters using DFT model

Highlights of Experience:

• Operation and maintenance of Bruker W-Band (95 GHz) and JEOL X- Band (9.5 GHz) EPR system

• Extensive experienced on TREPR measurements using JEOL X- Band and Bruker W- Band EPR system

• Maintenance and handling different kinds of laser systems–

Nb-YAG laser (Spectra Physics–GCR 170), OPO system, (pumped by Nb-YAG laser),

Eximer laser, Dye laser (pumped by Eximer laser)

• Experienced in handling low temperature (using liq. He) EPR and other photochemical experiments

• Experienced on nano-second time resolved transient absorption measurements

• Experienced in running Shimadzu IR spectrophotometers, Shimadzu UV-365 UV/VISIBLE Spectrometer, etc.

• Experience in synthesis of coordination complexes and nano particles.
