Presented engineering issues and recommended solutions to non-technical program managements for budget approval. Managed multiple vehicle programs simultaneously to meet extremely tight product development timelines. Facilitated understanding from all team members who had their own, conflicting objectives, and achieved win-win solutions through constructive communication.

Designing Engineer – Body Structures Group (2006 – 2009)

·  Designed and engineered new vehicle components for two vehicle programs simultaneously, using Unigraphics CAD software. The parts achieved highest initial quality in the corporation, and they are currently being reviewed by technical executives for purpose of inclusion in the global engineering Best Practice Database.

·  Received special recognition from management for taking ownership of a project that was outside the core engineering responsibility and driving it to a swift resolution by coordinating cross-functional team comprised of engineers, buyers, manufacturing, and multiple suppliers.

·  Contributed to the advancement of Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier performance through open dialogue with CAE safety engineers, buyers, suppliers, test coordinators, manufacturing engineers, and product engineers, and managing appropriate engineering design changes to achieve 5-star safety rating.
