Purpose: The DRC maintains a Web site from which data sets and accompanying documentation and reports from the oral health surveys conducted by the National Institute of Dental Research (now the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research) from 1979-1987 can be downloaded or requested. This collection of materials is intended to provideresearchers with access to historical data on the oral health status of children and adults in the US. The DRC provides the CD versionof the NIDR surveysupon request for use in settings without reliable Internet access.
