Product: Stargaze Playmat and Gym
Fault / Possible Cause / Action RequiredNo sound or lights / ON/OFF switch in OFF position / Ensure switch is in the ON position and retry.
No power from batteries / Ensure that brand new batteries are used and that they are HIGH ENERGY type. Also ensure they are fitted correctly.
Card not fitted correctly / If still no sound or light, ensure the music card is fitted and fully inserted correctly.
Faulty Music Card / If still no sound or light, try the product with the MP3 card and MP3 device. Ifthis works then the cause of the fault is most likely a faulty music card.
No sound but lights work / Volume turned down / Ensure volume control is ‘turned up’
Faulty music card / If still no sound, check MP3 card and MP3 device, if this works then it is probably a faulty music card.
Faulty speaker or amplifier / If still no sound the fault is probably due to a faulty speaker or electronic malfunction. The product will have to be checked by an authorised service agent.

No sound through MP3 Player, but works through music card. / ON/OFF switch in OFF position / Ensure switch is in the ON position and retry.
MP3 card not fitted / Ensure that the MP3 card is fitted and correctly inserted
Volume on MP3 device turned down / The volume control on the MP3 device controls the volume of the product. Ensure volume control is ‘turned up’
Lead not fitted into device correctly / If still no sound ensure that the MP3 lead is correctly inserted into the socket of the MP3 device
Faulty MP3 device / Try another MP3 device
Faulty lead or electronics / If still no sound the product will have to be returned to an authorised service agent
Sound and lights stop working after 10 minutes / Standby Mode / There is an inbuilt time out function in the product. If the switches or kick pad haven’t been operated within a ten minute period the product will go into standby mode.
To reinstate either operate switches, kick pad or button.
Kick Pad doesn’t operate sound or lights / Liquid has been spilled on music box / Allow to dry thoroughly and retry
Faulty switch on kick pad / If the kick pad still doesn’t work it may be a faulty switch which can be repaired by an authorised service agent.
Toy s don’t activate sound or lights / Low battery Power / Ensure that brand new batteries are used and that they are HIGH ENERGY type. Also ensure they are fitted correctly.
Music Card not inserted correctly / If still no sound or light, ensure the music card is fitted and fully inserted correctly.
Faulty Switch or electronics / If still no sound or lights the fault is probably due to an electronic malfunction. The product will have to be checked by an authorised service agent.
Lights working but music making a buzzing noise / Liquid has been spilled on music box / Allow to dry thoroughly and retry
Battery power low / Ensure the batteries are correctly fitted and are new and are of the high energy type
Perceived Poor Music Quality / The product is a toy and not a HI Fi stereo system.
Support Arches sag / Support arches Mis-shaped / Replace support arches with spares
Mis-assembled / If the support arches are not mis-shaped then the product has most likely been mis-assembled. Ensure that the the music box is attached to the playmat and ensure the ends of the arches are attached and toggled in all 4 pockets of the playmat in accordance with the product instructions
