Welcome to the lionfish fest family. We are pleased to know you are interested in being a part of an education and awareness program designed around the removal of the invasive lionfish from our coastal waters. We are accepting applications for a small number of vendor positions for this event; held on May 20, 2018. Here are a few things you should know if you want submit an application to be a vendor at the Sebastian Lionfish Fest.

Qualifications:

Product must promote healthy coastal ecosystems or coastal conservation. This can be done through arts, crafts, or the creation of innovative products that protect coastal habitats.

Costs:

$75 for a 10 x 10 space. Vendor must bring their own table, tent and other setup supplies. No electricity is available.

Requirements:

A presentable setup must be present from 12-4pmon May 20th. Personnel must man the table during the full event hours. Setup must begin at 11am and teardown can begin at 4pm. Materials can be unloaded and loaded by the tent area, but cars must be moved to a normal parking location after unloading and loading.Event volunteers will be there to help with set up and tear down.

Application Rules:

Applications are due no later than May 4th at 5pm. Applications are to be submitted online and will be processed and are subject to review and approval by the lionfish fest committee. Decisions will be made, and applications will receive notification of acceptance by the middle of March.

We require a description of all things you will be selling. It is important that the variety of vendors is balanced. If approved, a letter of acceptance will be issued via email and by phone. Fees will not be due until you receive your notice of acceptance. ALL vendors will be subject to the same rules and regulations.

A $75 CASH deposit (separate from space costs) will be due at the check-in table upon arrival. This deposit will be refunded to you in cash after break down as long as your space is clean and you stayed throughout the time period of the event. If there is debris at your space you will be given the opportunity to remove the debris and dispose of it appropriately, recycling if possible, or you will forfeit your deposit. If you close your booth early or leave it unattended for extended periods, this can also jeopardize your deposit. This deposit is meant to inspire fairness to all vendors and to maintain the integrity of this event.

Weather is unpredictable and can create challenges for vendors and guest alike. Please note that unpleasant weather will not give cause or justification for your absence if application is accepted, unless in the event of tornado, hurricane, or other extremely conditions which would cause the event to close.
