Ngh-Txm-61x

Product Manual

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Ngh-Txm-61x transmitter module. We hope you will enjoy many successful and safe flights using our products.

The Ngh-Txm-61x was designed with the FPV pilot in mind. We tried to design this product such, to be a minimal weight addition to your aircraft, but also to include some of the functions we thought are necessary for a good FPV system.

As you probably noticed on our website, we designed our products to be plug and play – so you can purchase, charge, plug it in and it works minimal user interaction. Some systems we came across would require several modifications before you could implement it, this comes almost ready to fly.

If you purchased a camera and the necessary connecting cables from our shop as well, this setup will be a breeze, you can implement this in no time at all.

In case you purchased the transmitter only to implement it in your existing system, you will need the information below in order to complete the installation.

Warning!!

The transmitter module does not contain any protection for reverse polarity. Reversing the battery polarity it is not easily accomplished if you are using our connector cables and power pigtail connectors. Incorrect installation, reversing the polarity will VOID the warranty of the product.

We do not guarantee that our transmitter will work with receivers marketed by other manufacturers. There are known differences between transmitters and receivers from different manufacturers, on some the video is transmitted properly but sound is not. Please make sure you use these transmitters with matching receivers, or at least receivers which are based on Airwave receiver modules: AWM625, AWM634, AWM635.

Please make sure you DO NOT operate the transmitter without an antenna attached. Operating the transmitter without an antenna will permanently damage the product and will void the warranty.

The transmitter

As you have noticed on the pictures already the Ngh-Txm-61x is built with 3 connectors, and one DIP switch – for channel selection. The 2 connectors beside the DIP Switch are your Power connector (the 2 pin one) and the Video/Audio connector (the 4 in one).

The Ngh-Txm-61x transmitter module works on the world wide ISM band, using 4 channels on the 2.4GHz frequency.

The channel selections are listed below:

Switch: 1 / Switch: 2 / Switch: 3 / Switch: 4 / Frequency (MHz)
On / Off / Off / Off / 2414
Off / On / Off / Off / 2432
Off / Off / On / Off / 2450
Off / Off / Off / On / 2468

There are 3 different transmitter modules this manual refers to, please refer to yours from the list below:

Model / Output power / Supply Current
Ngh-Txm-610 / 0dBm/10dBm
10mW / 26/20mA
Ngh-Txm-611 / 20dBm
100mW / 120mA
Ngh-Txm-612 / 27dBm
500mW / 450mA

As per the above list, the 10 and the 100mW transmitter does not require cooling, since the power consumption is low. The Ngh-Txm-612 has quite high power output, also high power consumption and it is equipped with a heat sink.

All the other parameters are the same for all 3 transmitter modules.

The connectors

In order to implement this transmitter for your application we provide you below with a pin order. Please refer to the images below:

If you require matching connectors or pigtails to install this transmitter in your application, please refer to our website, Categories, FPV products, Connectors.

On the other side of the Ngh-Txm-61x module is the antenna connector. This is an SMA female type connector. Please refer to the image below:

The impedance of the antenna input is 50 Ohm. Your Ngh-Txm-61x package contains a 2DBi omni directional antenna which is one of the best antennas to be used with our system.

If you require antennas with better gain, you can also check out the selection offered on our website.
