PROCEDURE REQUEST ECMO-RACE
ECMO has annually:1 race Classic Moto Cross des Nations (CMCdN)
3 races Classic European Championship (CEC)
A request for a race is only possible if a country is member of ECMO and there is a official representative of the riders of that country. They pay every year €150,00 member fee before March 1thof the current year.
Three races of four will take placein a country, which lies centrally in Europe; one race will be in a decentral country, like for example England, Italy, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Spain.
During the General Meeting, who is held annually at the end of the race season, the races for the next yearwill be determined. Participants at this meeting are - beside the ECMO-board - the representatives of the participating countries.
If a club wantsto organize a race, she has to ask this before 1 August preceding the new season, sending the Request Form to the representativeof that country. The representative of the country sentthe requests at least 1 monthbefore the General Meeting to the secretary of ECMO. During the General Meeting the definite race places and race data are determined by voting with the present representatives of the member countries.
The definite CEC-races and data will be planned one year ahead after the General Meeting, the CMCdN-race and date for two years in the future.So it has no sense to plan races several years ahead.
An association, a club or a track owner who wants to organize a race, must take full account of the require of their accommodation. Also that a good event insurance must be included there.
Furthermore there are extra costs, to ECMO a payment of € 300.00 must be satisfied. Moreover the club has to take care of the cups for the champions of the day of CEC-races and the cups for CMCdN-race.
