After last year’shugely successful and highly acclaimed event, Priory Celtic FC are pleased to announce that, in association with Broxtowe Borough Council, we will be hosting our Annual Tournament on the weekend of the 1st and 2nd July 2017
Highly regarded as one of the most professional, most attended and well administered events in the East Midlands; Priory Celtic FC invites applications for our “Broxtowe Tournament 2017”
Last year 180teams participated in the event across six age groups, we increased the capacity of every age group to cope with demand, howeverin 2017 we will be at full capacity so please ensure you enter early
All teams are guaranteed plenty of football with minimum waiting time between matches. This year we will continue to hold a Plate competition alongside our main Trophy competition at all age groups.
The Priory Tournament is always over subscribed (last year every age group was full before the official closing date), with fewer quality tournaments once again plannedfor this year we estimate there will be even more demand for places, to guarantee your team(s) a place do not wait until the closing date GET YOUR ENTRY IN ASAP
All matches will be played on standard mini soccer size grass pitches (7v7). The matches are played 6 –a – side with the maximum number of players per squad strictly ELEVEN players only. Player must be members of your club and NOT players registered with professional academies or centre of excellence’s (that includes players pre-registered for the 2017-18 season, a rule that local professional clubs help us enforce – please consider this BEFORE entering)
We aim to provide top quality facilities, official referees, plenty of car parking (£2 charge per car), refreshments and other fun activities throughout the day
NO INCREASE ON ENTRY FEE FOR THE SEVENTH YEAR - £35 PER TEAM
The Priory Celtic Broxtowe tournament will be registered as an affiliated FA event. Therefore please ensure that you have enough players to participate on the date before entering (especially if entering two or more teams) – entry fees are non-refundable.

Please send the completion application form together with your cheque made payable to “Priory Celtic FC” for the entry fee of £35.00 per team to our tournament co-ordinator – if sending cash please send registered/recorded post – unfortunately our club bank account doesn’t take BACS transfers
Upon receipt of entry you will receive an email confirming your entry, Full tournament details will be sent to all teams in early June
