Question:What are the specific day to day responsibilities of the on-site full time Lexmark certified technician?

Answer:Deliver toner, perform all repairs, perform all preventative maintenance, perform any printer related task which may include stripping non-serviceable printers for preparation to send for salvage.

Question:Will the on-site full time Lexmark certified technician be responsible for working with current Lexmark software?

Answer:Lexmark Software would have to be defined. The on-site technician would not work with LSP, however he/she would be required to understand the basic interactions of the LSP software and the fleet.

Question:Will thedistrict consider other options such as four hour or same day response vs. an on-site technician?

Answer:No, the RFP requirements are specific an on-site technician is required.

Question:Who is the incumbent? (Or is there a bid tab available from the last bid?)

Answer:Global Environment Service

Question:How many On-Site Service Technicians do you have currently servicing the Lexmark Printer Fleet?

Answer:One

Question:Does the current person on-site serving the Lexmark Printers have a Non-Compete contract? Would that person be eligible to be hired by an outside agency? What is the annual salary for this individual? Does the salary include benefits?

Answer:GPISD cannot answer any of these questions. These questions would have to be asked on the incumbent.

Question:Does the current on-site Lexmark technician monitor fleet data information? If not, is this a role you would like them to take on?

Answer:This is also not a question GPISD can solely answer. What is monitored and who monitors it is up to the individual contractor.

Question:What is the process for servicing devices if the current technician is unavailable? (i.e. sick, vacation, etc.)

Answer:This has not been an issue to date. GPISD requires vacation to be in the downtime during our off time. If the technician is out for training the contractor must provide a temporary on-site replacement.

Question:Is the current technician an employee of the ISD or another entity?

Answer:The current technician is employed by GES.

Question:Is there a schedule for technician to service devices at each location for preventativemaintenance?

Answer:No

Question:Please provide a summary of the typical page counts per month for each Lexmark device as stated in section IV Project Solution Evaluation Criteria.

Answer:This information was previously provided to all individuals who requested it.

Question:What is the annual salary of the current onsite technician? Grand Prairie ISD states their desire to keep the current onsite technician in Addendum 1 of RFP 12-12. This salary is needed to blend in with the total price of Marimon’s Printer Fleet proposal.
