All applications must be submitted via e-mail to by noon on Thursday February 21, 2013.
Application forms and booklets are available via e-mail from Miss Jackson in the office. Fill in the application form and e-mail it back to Miss Jackson.
By submitting the application form you are declaring the information given is true and complete in all respects and that you have read the information listed in the Bursary/Scholarship booklet and meet the specific criteria for each award you are applying for. You also are consenting to your name being included in any releases, should you be the recipient of any financial award.
Please fill in all requested information on the application form.
Note some awards required specific application forms as well. Some are attached to the main application form. The Columbia Basin Trust Youth Award for 2013 will be available online at their site soon.
Some awards have additional requirements or you must submit an essay. The group will not accept the application without all required information.
Awards that specify you must attend the institution within one year of graduation mean either the fall session or January/spring session.
Some groups will allow a one year enrollment deferral (to next fall) with written approval. If you plan to defer entering post-secondary please note this on your application form in order for the group to make an informed decision. If you are the chosen candidate for an award you should send a letter to the group notifying them of your plans and requesting written approval to defer.
Award certificates will be included in your grad folder at the graduation ceremonies along with instructions on who to contact to receive the award. Please send a thank-you note to the group if you are the chosen candidate for an award.
Remember – apply for all awards that you are qualified for. Some awards are not given out because no applications were received. Please do not apply for awards that you clearly are not qualified for.
The awards listed may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
E-mail or submit your letter of introduction detailing your accomplishments and your post-secondary school acceptance letter (when you get it) to the office to have it scanned for your file. Mrs. Lawrence will supply the office with a copy of your transcript later in the year.
