The Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins (MJKFF) is a non-profit organization committed to the development of our athletes at all levels of competitive and non-competitive swimming. We have a holistic approach to our coaching encouraging commitment, fitness, self discipline, loyalty, team building and education.

MJKFF has developed and recruited instructors qualified to teach and develop all of the swimmers from the beginner to nationally qualified swimmers. We have athletes that have graduated from our programs and moved on to University, National and International competitions. We also have programs for Special Olympics Athletes and pre-competitive swimmers aged six years and up. MJKFF head coach, Gord Shields was selected to work with the Canadian National Special Olympics Team. Individual awards and achievements of past and present MJKFF swimmers include; Swim Saskatchewan Athlete Merit Awards; National Age Group Champion; Canada Games Participants; numerous Provincial Small Team Championships and even one individual that competed in the Olympics.

Our organization is very involved in community programs and family development. We have more than 200 athletes complete our programs each year. We have a coaching staff comprised of a head coach, several part time assistant coaches, and several “I Can Swim” coaches.

With past and ongoing successes we have received tremendous media support and coverage in the Moose Jaw Times Herald and the Golden West Radio group. The two Provincial swim meets we host through the year attract as many as 300 athletes plus coaches, support staff, and families.

The MJKFF board and families are looking for community support. As with any other sport, we share our gratitude and success with our friends and neighbours. The financial support you provide will assist the swim club with its continually increasing costs for pool time, travel, coaching staff and other associated expenses. We have attached our sponsorship program for your review and it is our hope that we can partner in the very near future. We have developed a program that will give your company tremendous public exposure in our bulletin boards at the Moose Jaw Kinsmen & Phyliss Dewar swimming pools, the media and though our newsletters, website and swim meets.
