The Risk & Trails Manual, Policies, Guidelines and Reports will be Provided to Attendees

This workshop will benefit all professionals associated with risk management, parks, trail associations, parks and recreation committees, and such directors, supervisors, and staff.

The Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) in co-operation with the City of Santa Barbara is pleased to advise that in response to member requests we have arranged to bring the Risk and Trails training workshop to California. Here is your chance to attend a practical workshop to learn about the risks and liabilities associated with multi-use trails as well as steps you can take to improve the safety and enjoyment of those using your trail system. Using many examples of trail injuries and liability losses, workshop leader Doug Wyseman drives home the need for written policies and procedures. Discussions will involve the many challenges associated with California trails and provide easy to follow steps to develop an effective risk management program for your trail.

"Great instructor/facilitator...this blows away any risk management course I've attended!"

"Excellent real world scenarios drive home important message...super manual"
