dLAN 500 WiFi – The new Wi-Fi product from devolo; finally, Wi-Fi in any room
The highlight of devolo's CeBIT presence this year is the dLAN 500 WiFi. In its extremely compact housing (power outlet form), it harbours concentrated network technology: Alongside an Ethernet port, it has a high-performance Wi-Fi antenna, which enables wireless surfing on the network and the Internet.
Anyone who would like to cover any room of the home with stable Wi-Fi can add more of the compact adapters as needed. The individual Wi-Fi hotspots use the innovative devolo WiFi Move technology and automatically connect together to form a large wireless network. There is no need to switch between various Wi-Fi networks manually; the respective terminal device selects the strongest signal automatically. In this way, the adapters offer users maximum freedom of movement with their mobile devices such as tablets, smartphones or laptops. Additionally, the dLAN 500 WiFi offers further reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional Powerline adapters, and an extremely attractive price for the end customer.
dLAN TV SAT Multituner: The latest generation of the devolo satellite TV solution supports streaming on tablets
Also at the CeBIT: The latest generation of the successful devolo satellite TV series, which uses the home powerline for transmission of a satellite TV signal. The dLAN TV SAT Multituner has an integrated Powerline adapter, as well as two integrated TV tuners. In this way, users can receive two different television signals at the same time, or watch one live and record a second. If this is not sufficient, then two multi-tuners can be combined, for a maximum of four channels received at the same time.
Mobility is also at the centre with TV reception: The dLAN TV SAT Multituner supports the new Sat>IP standard, which enables (HD)TV signals to be streamed on mobile end devices such as tablets, smartphones or laptops with the free devolo app. Of course, SAT>IP certified set-top boxes such as the dLAN TV SAT>IP Receiver can be used for connecting to a TV.
dLAN 500 AVpro UNI: One for All – power, coaxial and two-wire
The Powerline multitalent uses three different types of cable for simultaneous data transmission: power, coaxial and two-wire can be used by the dLAN 500 AVpro UNI for data transmission. In this way, customers get maximum use of the existing cable infrastructure. Using the power line, distances of up to 300 meters of cable length can be bridged; with coaxial or two-wire, up to 600 metres.
The dLAN 500 AVpro UNI offers four Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which supports Power over Ethernet, so that security cameras, for example, can be operated directly and without additional power supply. While the basic setup goes quickly and intuitively, the professional configuration software dLAN AVpro manager enables detailed settings as needed, as well as the option for remote maintenance and administration of the network.
dLAN 200 AVpro mini and dLAN 500 AVpro+: the latest Powerline products for specialist dealers
devolo is continuing to expand its professional dLAN product line. Developed for Powerline networks in the commercial environment, devolo is presenting the dLAN 500 AVpro+ and dLAN 200 AVpro mini two additional new adapters for secure and stable network connections via the building's internal power line. While the dLAN 500 AVpro+ stands out with a Gigabit Ethernet port and an integrated electrical socket with mains filter, the AVpro mini makes an impression with its compact dimensions. In order to guarantee a secure installation, particularly in public areas, the AVpro+ is compatible with the Kensington Lock system. The special dLAN PROFESSIONAL architecture allows the use of up to 64 adapters within a network.
