CONSPIRACY BY EMPLOYEES OF MUTHOOT FINANACE & OTHERS UNEARTHED, FOUR ARRESTED AND 2.6 KG GOLD, RS. 10 LACS RECOVERED.

Police of Central District has busted a gang within 48 hours which had fled away with 3.4 Kg of gold by arresting four persons namely 1. Amit Advani s/o Sh. Ram Chand Advani R/o A-193, Shastri Nagar, Delhi, Age 30 yrs, 2. Sandeep Khatri S/o Late Sh Khushal Chand R/o B-77, 2nd floor, Pocket-21, Sec-24, Rohini, Delhi, Age- 30 Yrs, 3.Srijeet S/o Gopal Nathan Nayar R/o A-103, DDA Flats, New Ranjeet Nagar, Delhi, Age- 29 Yrs and 4. Girish Chand S/o Sh. Shiv Singh R/o A-169, Kondli, kalyan puri, Delhi, Age-38 Yrs. and has recovered 2.6 Kg of Gold and Rs. 10 Lacs cash.

INCIDENT

A PCR call was received at PS DBG Road on 30-05-13 regarding snatching of bag by unknown persons. On the spot, complainant Girish, a office Boy of Muthoot Finance, East Park Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi met who informed that he along with Asst. Manager, Muthoot Finance, East Park Road Br, Mr. Srijeet had gone to Lajpat Nagar to bring some jewellary items from Lajpat Nagar. At about 7:30PM, when they reached in front of their office at East Park Road, two persons came on M/Cycle and robbed a bag from Girish containing about 3.4 kg of gold jewellery item by threatening to shoot him. As per the version of Girish, the Asst. Manager had gone to the branch with his bag and he was alone when the incident took place. On the statement of the complainant, a case vide FIR No. 165/13 u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS DBG Road and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION

During the investigation, the version of the complainant Girish was not found to be satisfactory. Primarily, on the point that soon after the incident of his bag being robbed which contained gold jewellery items worth about Rs. 80 lakhs, instead of raising a hue and cry, he made a phone call to Srijeet and informed about the incident. Girish and Srijeet were examined very closely and watch was also maintained on them. During rounds off examination, Girish broke down and confessed that the bag has not been robbed, infact he along with Srijeet, one Sandeep Khatri and Amit had planned to embezzle the jewellery and make a false call of robbery. To further plan their conspiracy, they had earlier met at Central Park, Connaught Place.

On 30.05.2013, Srijeet and Girish had gone to Lajpat Nagar to bring about 6 kgs. Of gold ornament items to their branch at EastPark road. The entire gold items were kept in 58 sealed packets, which were further placed in 2 bags. In one bag being carried by Srijeet, there were 46 packets with ornaments weighing about 2.6 Kgs and the bag being carried by Girish had 12 packets with gold ornaments weighing about 3.4 kgs. This bag was allegedly robbed. However, during investigation, it was found that Srijeet was in contact with Sandeep Khatri and soon after reaching EastPark road, near his branch, he called Sandeep who sent Amit and Girish handed him the bag and made a call of robbery.

On identification of Sandeep Khatri and Amit, raids were conducted to arrest both of them. Amit was arrested and the bag in which the jewellery items were handed to him along with the scooter used in the offence was recovered. On his interrogation, it was revealed that soon after taking the jewellery items (bag), Amit had handed over the bag to Sandeep Khatri, who had transferred the gold ornament packet in a new bag.

Efforts were made to trace the hideout of Sandeep for arresting him and from one of his hideout at Sec. 24, Rohini, one small safe and Rs. 50,000/- were recovered.

On the basis of technical surveillance, it was found that the accused Sandeep had visited the area of Lal Kuan, Hauz Qazi in the night of 30.05.2013. During the investigation, it was also found that one of his acquaintance lived at 2912, Sikriwalan, Lal Kuan, Delhi and raid was conducted on this house and a bag containing jewellery items in different pouches, weighing approx. 2.6 Kgs was recovered from there. Later on, accused Sandeep was also arrested. Rs. 10 lacs were recovered from his possession which he procured by selling the robbed jewelley items.

ONE DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED: 2.05 KGS. HASHISH AND 2 KGS. MANDRAXWORTH SEVERAL LAKHS RECOVERED

With the arrest of Mohd. Abid, aged about 21 yearsr/o Chauhan Bangar, Brahmpuri Road, Seelampur, Delhi, Central District police has recovered 2.05 Kgs Hashish and 2 Kgs. Mandraxworth several lakhs in the international market from his possession.

TEAM AND THE INCIDENT

On 01/06/2013, an information was received at PS Kamla Market that a person who is in possession of illegal drugs will come at Fasil Road near Kallu Bhagat Mandir. Acting upon this information, a team comprising of Inspr. Pramod Joshi, SHO/Kamla Market, ASI Pramod, HC Naresh, HC Shailesh and Const. Yogesh under theclose supervision of Sh. Ram Kumar,ACP/Kamla Market was constituted to further develop this information and take action.

Accordingly, a trap was laid near Kallu Bhagat Mandir and at the instance of the informer, one person moving in a suspicious condition and carrying a bag was intercepted. On search of the bag being carried by the person, 2.05 kgs. illegal Hashish and 2 kgs. Mandrax was recovered from the same.

During interrogation, the detained person revealed his identity as Mohd. Abid r/o Chauhan Bangar, Brahmpuri Road, Seelampur, Delhi. On further sustained interrogation, he disclosed that he was working at an embroidery shop at Mohalla Nihariyan, GB Road, Kamla Market, Delhi. During his work, he came in the contact with one Islamuddin @ Islam who lured him into drug trade with the hope of making quick money. Thus he got himself involved in this crime.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress. Efforts are being made to arrest Islamuddin @ Islam also.

SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF MCOCA DETAINEE & NOTORIOUS BAD CHARACTER CUM BUILDER KHALEEL AHMAD @ KHALEEL MAMA SOLVED

INTRODUCTION:

The Crime Branch has arrested oneRishi Gupta, age- 30 years S/o Ramji Lal Gupta R/o 244/65, Gali No.-4, Mandawali, Delhi with one automatic pistol alongwith 4 live cartridges of .32” caliber and one country made pistol alongwith 4 live cartridges of .315” caliber in his possession, who is involved in sensational murder of notorious Bad Character cum builder Khaleel Ahmad @ Khaleel Mama. The deceased Khaleel Ahmed was a MCOCA detainee who was previously involved in more than 45 criminal cases.

INCIDENT:

On 29.05.13, Khaleel Ahmed @ Khaleel Mama, a Bad Character cum builder of Lahori Gate area was murdered in cold blood in a shootout in which his accomplice Ismail also sustained gunshot injuries. A case vide FIR No. 100/13, dt. 30.05.2013 u/s 302 IPC, PS Lahori Gate, North Distt., Delhi was registered in this regard.

INFORMATION:

A team of AATS/Crime Branch, Delhi including Insp. Jai Bhagwan, ASIs Harveer Singh, Harsh Vardhan, HCs Azad, Upender, Karambir, Sandeep, Dilbagh Singh, Kamal, Krishan, Jitender, Sanjay Tyagi, Cts. Govinder, Jagat Nagar, Yoginder and Harender was also deputed to nab the criminals involved in this cold blooded sensational murder under the supervision of ACP Satish Chander Yadav & over all supervision of Addl. DCP Kumar Gyanesh. The team so deputed started working relentlessly on the leads provided by the eyewitnesses. Informers were also deployed to gather information in this regard. The efforts of the team finally yielded fruit when information was received on 02.06.13 that an associate of the main shooter Mobin namely Rishi Gupta is the co- conspirator in the crime and he will come to meet someone near Shahadra Metro Station.

On this information, the AATS/Crime Branch team swung into action, laid a trap near Shahdra Metro Station and overpowered Rishi Gupta, who was in possession of one automatic pistol, alongwith 4 live cartridges of .32” caliber and one country made pistol alongwith 4 live cartridges of .315” caliber. The accused has been arrested vide case FIR No. 96/2013 dt. 1.06.13 u/s 25 Arms Act, P.S. Crime Branch, Delhi.

INTERROGATION:

The accused Rishi Gupta has disclosed that his close friend Mobin Sabbir was an associate of Khaleel Ahmed. He became familiar to both of them when he was in Tihar Jail. They were extorting money from the builders and businessmen of old Delhi. Off late, Khaleel Ahmed and Mobin become enemies due to some reasons and Mobin hatched a conspiracy alongwith Rishi Gupta to eliminate Khaleel Ahmed. They had visited the office of Khaleel Ahmed 2-3 times before this incident with the intention to kill him but they could not find safe opportunity to execute their plan. As both of them are having past criminal record, they had easy access to the weapons but needed a vehicle to run away from the spot after shootout. Rishi Gupta was asked by Mobin to arrange for the vehicle. On the fateful day, Rishi Gupta borrowed a white TATA Safari from one of his acquaintances namely Israil Ahmed S/o Iqbal Ahmed R/o A-60, North Vinod Nagar, Mandawali, Delhi. Rishi Gupta was driving the vehicle and Mobin was seating with him on the front seat of TATA Safari. Both of them reached near Fire Station at about 11 PM after arming themselves with two firearms each. Rishi Gupta was sitting in the TATA Safari with its ignition on and Mobin went for the actual hit. Within minutes, Mobin came back and told Rishi Gupta “SALE KA KAAM KAR DIYA” and both of them ran away in the TATA Safari vehicle. After this incident, both of them reached Mandawali and then left for Etah, UP to meet one of their friends to borrow some money from him as they were short of funds at that time. Later, they went to Agra in the same TATA Safari. Rishi dropped Mobin at Delhi Agra Main road, near Sutalpuri pulia. Mobin stayed there in Shripati Guest House. After this, he came back to Delhi and returned to his house after parking the TATA Safari in Karkardooma Court complex. He handed over the keys of TATA Safari to one of his friends to handover the same to its owner. He was planning to go to Agra to meet Mobin since he wanted to eliminate his enemy namely Shiv Shankar at Firozabad near Agra. According to him, he had helped Mobin in the murder of Khaleel and now Mobin was supposed to help him in the murder of Shiv Shankar. However, before executing their plan, he was nabbed alongwith the firearms being carried by him to eliminate Shiv Shankar.

RECOVERY:

1.Tata Safari No. DL-9C Z 0849 (used in the commission of crime).

2.One automatic pistol alongwith 4 live cartridges of .32” caliber.

3.One country made pistol alongwith 4 live cartridges of .315” caliber.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:

The accused Rishi Gupta originally belongs to Shiv Nagar, Firozabad, UP, He has studied up to 8th standard and is unmarried. The accused is having seven sisters and one brother. In the year 2002, he was arrested for first time in a case of attempt to murder when a quarrel took place with his neighbors. In this incident, his cousin brother Vikas Gupta was murdered. After this, he was arrested in two more cases of attempt to murder and in a case of murder in the same Police Station Kotwali North Firozabad, UP. Due to these reasons, the family of the accused left Firozabad and started living in Delhi. In 2006, the accused Rishi Gupta alongwith his associates Pawan Gupta and Sandeep Bhatnagar committed a robbery of Rs. 40 Lac at UTI bank in Vikaspuri, Delhi by pretending as human bombs and was later arrested in the case.

Three desperate robbers arrested, one minorapprehended, Robbed IPhones recovered, Daylight robbery of PS Hauz Khas solved

Special staff of South District has arrested three accused persons namely 1.) Abdullah @ Kabir s/o Late Nizamuddin, 2.) wasim s/o Munna, 3.) Arif Saifi s/o Shokhat Saifi and apprehended one Juvenile and has worked out the sensational day light Robbery case of PS Hauz Khas that occured on 01.3.2013. Robbed Apple I-phone 5 Mobile phones (2 nos) and the motorcycle used by the accused persons in commission of crime has been recovered. The juvenile has been produced before Child Welfare Committee.

INCIDENT

On 1 March 2013 one Dilpreet Singh S/o Sh. Jarnail Singh R/o WZ-74 Tilak Nagar New Delhi, Age 20 Years, who is a salesman with Best Deal Store, shop no. 61, Gaffar Market Karol Bagh Delhi, had come to Ansal Plaza near Andrews Ganj to exchange five apple IPhone 5 mobile phones for his shop. He received 4 new Apple IPhone 5, as replacement, from the service centre. While going back to Karol Bagh, when he reached near Shiv mandir bus stand on August Kranti Marg, he was intercepted by 4 boys on two differentmotor cycles. They robbed the bag containing 4 mobile phones worth Rs. 2,08,000/- from Dilprit Singh. They threw red Chilli powder on the face of Dilpreet Singh and also beat him before robbing him off his bag containing 4 costly IPhone 5 mobile phones. All four of them fled away from the spot by taking the bag containing mobiles. It was a daylight robbery and a case vide FIR No. 90/13 Dated 1/3/13 is registered at P.S. Hauz Khas.

TEAM

Keeping in view the sensational robbery the case was handed over to Special Staff South District. A special team consisting of SI Rajeev Bamel, ASI Mahender Kumar, Ramkishan HC Premjeet, Bhoop, Manoj, Ashok, Rajender Ct Harikesh, Vijay Gaur, Yashvir, Dvr Ct. Yogesh 731/SD was formed under the leadership of Insp Jasmohinder Chaudhari Incharge Special Staff South District and overall supervision of Shri Kulwant Singh ACP/OPS/SD. SI Naveen Kumar of PS Hauz Khas, being the IO of the case, was also part of the team.

On the basis of sustained effort and prompt action taken by the above team of special Staff, accused Abdullah@ Kabir was arrested in the case. He admitted that he committed the crime along with Wasim, Arif and one Juvenile. The Juvenile had given prior information to other gang members that Dilpreet would be coming to Ansal Plaza along with expensive mobiles. Later Aarif and Wasim were also arrested from Seelampur area. Another robbed mobile Apple IPhone 5 was also recovered from accused Wasim. One Red colour Platina motorcycle, which was used by them in the commission of crime, was also recovered.
