Register for and Attend President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) at Renaissance Concourse, Atlanta Airport on March 17-18, 2012.

Register for and attend the District Conference on May 10-13, 2012 inHilton Head, South Carolinaand promote attendance by other club members.

Register for and attend RI Convention in Bangkok, ThailandMay 6-9, 2012.

Assist Club President Elect (PE) to finalize the appointing of chairs and committee members for Rotary Year 2012-2013.

Register for and attend the District Assembly (LEADS) and Foundation-Membership Seminar to be held onApr 28, 2012.

If your club is a Pilot Training Club Program become familiar with the program.

Attend your Rotary Club’s March Board Meeting.

April 2012– PN

Attend District Assembly (LEADS) and Foundation-Membership Seminar on Apr 28, 2012at Flowery Branch High School.

Attend your Rotary Club’s April Board Meeting.

Register for and attend District Conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina on May 10-13, 2012.

May 2012 - PN

Confer with your Club President Elect to set a club assembly in May or June to consider theclub’s 2012-2013 goals and objectives along with presenting the budget to club for approval.

Become Familiar with your Clubs Foundation Status and appointment of Rotary Area Coordinator.

Attend your Rotary Club’s May Board Meeting.

June 2012 - PN

Work with retiring 2011-2012 Club President on recognition of retiring officers, board members and acknowledgement of the 2012-2013 President electand installation of incoming Board members.

Attend your Rotary Club’s June Board Meeting or Special Meeting for induction of new Club officer’s.

July 2012 - PE

Congratulations you made it… you are now officially your Rotary Club’s President-Elect!

Attend your Rotary Club’s July Board and Committee Meetings.

Plan to register for and attend The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Seminar on August 28, 2012

Read club president’s workbook and the club committee manuals from RI.

Attend District Assembly (LEADS) and Foundation-Membership Seminar in 2013 at Flowery Branch High School.

Attend 2012-13 District Conference in Chattanooga, TN. April 24-28, 2013.

With appropriate board members and committee chairs, develop realistic club goals and objectives for your year. Be sure to pay attention to the district goals and incorporate them into club’s goals.

Nominate an Ambassadorial Scholar from your area or college.

May 2013 –PE

Attend your Rotary Club’s May Board and Committee Meetings.

Meet with your Assistant Governor and discuss plans and objectives for your year, Club Assembly.

Give yourAG (with a copy to DGE) a typed copy of your Planning Guide for Effective Clubs. A copy will be required tobe in the hands of the District Governor before his/her official visit.

Help current President to finalize club goals and objectives for his/her year. Be sure to pay attention to the district goals and incorporate them into club’s goals.

Review presidential citation requirements and district award standards. Plan your speakers and projects accordingly to meet the above objectives to acquire points toward Club of the Year, etc.

Hold a club assembly in May or June to announce the club’s goals and objectives/Present budget to club for approval.

Confer with committee chairs to assure progress toward the club’s goals. Since they were a part of the committee setting the goals, they should already be on board.

With appropriate board members, set up your budget for the year.

Attend your Rotary Club’s June Board and Committee Meetings.

Work with retiring president on recognition of retiring officers and board members.

Recognize those members with perfect attendance.

Notify club of the date of the district governor’s official visit.

Read all RI and district mail carefully.

Meet with your club secretary, Membership Chair and Foundation chair to coordinate reporting each area of responsibility in a timely manner.

Make reservations for GRSP Host Family to attend Conclave in (Location and date)
