Previous Minutes: Presented by R.N., Megan, accepted to be an accurate record by Jenny 2nd

Business arising:

·  Mothers Day Stall- Thurs/ Fri 8.50-9.15. Spent $320.

Drew announce stall at assembly. Megan put on Fb. In newsletter.

·  20th May - Street Stall

Next newsletter: notice for baking goods- Row; on FB

Raffle: parents, donate a grocery item- non-perishable items. Have it there on day

Sue Landers help on stall and Row

·  Movie night: 2nd June. Drinks, chips- order. Megan has spoken to businesses for donations. Megan to put add in newsletter. Sausage sizzle. Movie: Shrek 1.

·  Roof for KL area. Bruce is going to talk to Courtney’s husband. Andrew Harris quote. $10-15.000.

·  NAIDOC funding - didn’t get funding from Kyogle Council. Sue trying with NAIDOC NSW site. Sausage sizzle didn’t really work last year. Chaos and made no money. Ask Ab Ed committee what they want to do - sausage sizzle

Correspondence: Uniform packages :(1) $60 (2) $100 (3) $50

Needs more jackets: windbreakers

Principals Report:

·  Tracey O’Neill replaced Tracey O’Reilly as learning support

·  Double usage basketball rings

·  Dance: There will be a rehearsal viewing on last day of term

·  Anzac Day: well done everyone. Great attendance.

·  Rugby- won 2 lost 1 out of comp

·  Stranger Smarter: Jas Matt have attended the training

·  NAPLAN next week

·  Need a BBQ down at hall. Authorised to buy 2 if they are under $250 for both and tag them as owned by P&C.

·  Snow excursion: Are P&C willing to offer support? P&C want to know what amount? Drew to research and bring to next meeting. Parents going?

·  Revisit excursions: Surveys to parents, Drew to present at a staff meeting.

General Business:

·  Rowena approached by a representative from St Brigid’s regarding all the work involved in putting on a fete and workers being hard to find. Idea of a joint fete held at footy field. $2 fee at gate for footy club. Use their kitchen. 50% in profits. Could involve all small schools? Alcohol? St B’s voting tonight Row and Megan are interested. Worth exploring.
