Within the expectations of the Preschool Program Manager position, the employee will be evaluated within the following areas:
- All areas should be marked as proficient (Pro), deficient (Def), or not applicable (N/A).
- For the purposes of this form, “proficient” describes job performance that meets the minimum standard of performance in each area. “Deficient” describes job performance that does not meet the acceptable standard in an area
- All marked deficiencies must be accompanied by supporting documentation.
- PROGRAM OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT

Supervises student support staff and supports/ensures the implementation of strategies as defined in students’ individualized program plans
Ensures that program evaluations are completed each year
Provides information on student progress and activities on a regular basis to school principal and special education teacher
Works collaboratively with the School Principal to schedule, timetable, and delegate staff responsibilities
Plans jointly with Special Education Teacher and other professionals to develop and implement parent/child educational opportunities
Ensures the safety of students at all times
Carries out directions and duties as assigned

Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of the IPP goals as developed by the Special Education Teacher and/or other professionals involved (i.e. Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapist, Behavior Specialist, School District Psychologists).
Assists staff in joint home visits
Assists parents in the completion of Ages and Stages Developmental Questionnaire
Active involvement in recruitment of children
Develops and delivers a program that is child centered, play-based and developmentally appropriate

Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
