Quality Manager

Currently we are looking for a TS/ISO Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary: Supervise and manage quality assurance issues involved in mass production.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with (internal) production to assure quality of product
  • Introduce and improve systems and technologies for Internal Production
  • Help implement quality training
  • Help set up internal quality standards
  • Serve customer’s needs relating to internally produced products, including such areas

as correspondence, quality issues, policy matters and/or any other concerns which may arise during the course of business

  • Complete appropriate documentation as required
  • Assist in establishing CPK, and SPC monitoring
  • Make calculations employing mathematical formulas
  • Ensure that the existing TS16949:2002 quality system is maintained, followed and

promoted as documented by Nifco in the guidelines, policies, procedures and standards

of the system

Education:

  • Four year industrial degree or equivalent related experience

Experience/Skills/Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Quality and 2 years of previous management experience
  • Automotive supplier and Injection Molding experience
  • ISO and QS experience
  • Must be very analytical with a high degree of concentration to interpret blue prints, reports, analytical data
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Customers, Vendors and other

  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability to determine probable cause, resolution and correction action plans
  • Must cooperate effectively externally and internally to fulfill essential functions
  • Must be a licensed driver with a safe driving record
  • May occasionally be required to travel offsite, sometimes over night
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company

Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:

  • Able to lift boxes up to 20 pounds
  • Able to work sitting or standing for extended periods of time
