The use of electrified tape, strings, ropes or chains, is not permitted at Pony Club Events. Electric tape can be used as a top line or as a “standoff” on a steel or solid yard, but not as a standalone yard.
Riders are prohibited from using the OPC Cross Country Course from midnight Sunday the 8th of February 2015 through toTuesday March the 10th, 2015 . Abuse of this rule will result in elimination from competitions and forfeiting of entry money
Gear Check is compulsory for all Pony Club Sections. In accordance with Gear Check Rule 2.1.b iii Open Show ring competitors do not require a gear check. However all riders must register at Gear check where identification will be given to gain entry into classes. PCAV club member’s cards must be presented at gear check.
Conditions of Entry PLEASE READ Pony Club & Open Sections

All participants must complete an Event Participation Form, Liability Declaration Form. Those without current 24/7 insurance must complete the Day Attendance Waiver Form and Pay $10. Those who fail to complete all required forms will their have entry returned
Conditions of Entry: Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions
1.No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $10 will be deducted.
2.Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. PCAV Lunging Policy Applies.
3.The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.
4.Complying helmets must worn, spot checks may occur. All riders must wear complying helmets. Approved ASA3838, EN1384, PAS015, ASTNF1163
5.Gear Check: required for all riders before each phase.
6.Armbands: must be worn by all competitors.
7.No Lunging permitted except in designated lunging area prior to 9.00am. PCAV Lunging Policy Applies
8.Armbands-: are required to be worn by all competitors- including non-members
9.Horses must be at least age four, no stallions, colts or rigs.
10.Novice-: Horse or Rider who has never won a first prize at any Open Gymkhana
11.Riders in Pony Club sections must be under 26 Years.
12.PCAV Alcohol Policy applies.
13.Dogs must be on a leash at all times
14.Queries, protests, horse abuse, rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws. Protests must be lodged within 20 minutes of posted results. All protests must be accompanied by a $50 refundable fee, if protest is upheld.
15.Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

Everybody fills in the Liability Declaration Form
$10 Day Attendance Fee is due UNLESS you are a financial member* of EV/EA; AHS; SHCA; AERA; an Interstate Pony Club; or can prove personal Liability Cover of at least $10,000,000. *Must produce proof.
Riders without adequate Insurance Cover pay $10 for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event. ( Not personal Medical) and complete the Day Participant Waiver.
PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office.
PCAV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCAV Rules may be left uninsured.

I understand that due to diseases such as equine influenza, the Victorian Department of Primary Industries, or other State or Commonwealth government body, may restrict or prevent the movement of horses, vehicles and personnel for a period of time (“Standstill”).
