March 23, 2015

Dear Parents,

The year is finally winding down. We would like to make these last few months learning-filled and pleasant but not disastrous. In order to avoid any “out with a bang” type stunts, we have planned some activities to allow for some final happy memories.

The students will be wearing caps and gowns again this year. The girls wear a red gown, white collar, white cap, and red and white tassel. The boys will wear red gowns, red caps, and red and white tassel. The gowns are calf length; therefore, the girls should wear a knee length (or shorter) dressy dress underneath. The boys should wear dress pants, shirt, dress shoes (no sneakers) and a tie.

Friday, May 15: Study Day- Students who have NO MISSING OR INCOMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS MAY come to school for Final Exam Review Sessions-during their regular class time. Students who have ANY MISSING OR INCOMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS IN ANY SUBJECT MUST COME TO SCHOOL FOR THE ENTIRE DAY ON mAY 15 in order to attend Gradventure and the Graduation Dance.

There will be no flash photography allowed again this year during the mass and graduation ceremony. Videotaping may be done only from the pews during the GRADUATION part of the ceremony. (NO VIDEOTAPING OR PHOTOGRAPHY DURING MASS).

Anyone who pulls any stunts or whose behavior/attitude / academic performance deteriorates during these last few days will not attend Gradventure or the dance, will not participate in the barbecue, will not participate in the graduation mass or program, and will remain in school until June 3. No misbehavior will be tolerated up to and including the day of graduation.
