If you are coming from another country, fly to Sofia Airport.

  • Subway

There is a subway station, which offers the fastest and cheapest journey between the airport and the city center. The journey time from Sofia Airport to the city centre is approximately 18 min.The subway runs approximately every 10 minutes between 5:30 and 24:00. To check the timetable, click here. Tickets and prepaid cards can be bought at the station. The standard single fare is 1,60 BGN (0,82 €). The prepaid card for 10 or more tickets starts at 12 levs.

  • Public transportation

Bus 84 runs from Sofia Airport to Gen. Gurko str., which is in the city center. The journey time from the start to the final destination is approximately 40 min on weekdays, and 30 min at weekends/holidays.The bus runs between 5:00 and 24:20. To check the timetable, click here. Tickets can be bought from the bus driver. The standard single fare is 1,60 BGN (0,82 €).The prepaid card for 10 or more tickets starts at 12 levs and can be bought from the kiosks and small shops at the bus stations.
