Job Purpose:Delivery oflocal school’s Learn to Swim Scheme for Burnley Leisure during school term – 36 weeks.
Job Status:Staff
Responsible to:Supervisor
Responsible for:School children undertaking school swimming lessons
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1.To be responsible for the instruction of the school learn to swim scheme.
2.To maintain accurate record keeping for school swimming.
3.To undertake private and crash course swimming lessons as required.
4.To demonstrate a high level of customer care at all times
5.To promote and maintain good public relations
6.To adopt safe working practices in line with Health & safety guidelines
7.Liaise with Management to assist with the development of the learn to swim scheme.
8.To undertake continual professional development and attend seminars.
9.To undertake such other duties and responsibilities as are commensurate with the salary grading of the post.
10.To work actively to promote community cohesion, good race relations and equality of opportunity
