POST:Student Recruitment Officer Midlands Region (UCFB Academic Relationship Manager)
LOCATION: Midlands Region - Office base UCFB Wembley Campus
SALARY/GRADE:£27,000 +£3,000 car allowance
RESPONSIBLE TO:UK Student Recruitment Manager
POST OBJECTIVES:The post engages and recruits students to study University degrees at either of UCFB two inspirational campuses – UCFB Wembley and UCFB Etihad Campus – and develop relationships with schools, sixth forms and other FE institutions to deliver enrolment targets.
KEY TASKS
- Manage and deliver student focussed engagement and recruitment activities
- Develop strong and productive relationships with key contacts in all sixth forms and FE colleges in the designated area
- Increase the number of ‘feeder institutions’ to UCFB through pro-active networking in schools and colleges
- Deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences on the benefits of UCFB
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of a variety of academic and student open events including education forums and conferences
- Pro-actively work with academic staff to provide a range of recruitment activities for partner schools and colleges
- Produce statistical reports and competitor analysis
- Assist with the preparation and production of an annual calendar of events, student recruitment reports and statistics
- Attend undergraduate Higher Education and Careers conferences and other similar events across the UK where required
- Assist with Clearing, Enrolment, Graduation and other high profile events across the institution
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the work of the Marketing & Student Recruitment Team and the nature of the role as requested by the UK Student Recruitment Manager
- To undertake appropriate staff development and professional training in line with the business strategic objectives of UCFB

- Qualifications and Training
A full driver’s licence / Professional qualification in Marketing / 1,2 & 4
- Previous Work Experience
Experience of working to tight deadlines / Experience of developing realtionships with Schools and FE Colleges / 1,2 & 4

Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, full time
Salary: £27,000 + £3,000 car allowance
Work base: Normally, UCFB Wembley but any of UCFB’s premises as may be
required
Holidays: 33 days paid holiday, including the usual public holidays in
England & Wales
Benefits: Christmas/ New Year closure period (10 discretionary days), child

occupational maternity / paternity pay after qualifying period
Subject to:
Satisfactory DBS check
Satisfactory completion of the Probationary period – 6 months
Compliance with Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 and Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006
Evidence of stated qualifications relevant to the post
Evidence of membership of relevant professional bodies as stipulated by the post
Not being subject to a Football Banning Order or any lawful prohibition on entering a football stadium in the UK
