Job Title:Office Manager/Administrative Support

Responsible To:Service Delivery Management

Place of work/Location:Leeds LS15

Core Purpose

  • Manage the day to day operations of the office based in Leeds, supervising staff and workloads.
  • Take the lead in the administration of the new education project in the North ensuring that all required tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Take the lead support role to the Team Manager and other management staff

Duties and Accountabilities

  • To line manage, undertake appraisals and regularly supervise the Team Administrators
  • Be the lead in the maintenance of the building and the office hardware
  • Be the office lead in all health and safety matters.
  • Be the direct support to the team manager and other management.
  • Facilitate the communication between the Leeds office and the London office including taking the lead in the efficient transmission of finance information between the 2 offices.
  • Ensure that the Support Team provides a high quality and efficient service that promotes external confidence
  • Ensure that everyone’s first experience of PAC-UK is welcoming and sensitive to their needs
  • Ensure that distribution of work between the Team Administrators is equal and that the team provide back-up for each other during busy times or absence
  • Ensure the appearance of the office is kept to a high standard
  • Ensure that alleducation support tasks are completed in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Correspond with counsellors, clients and local authorities as required
  • Monitor and update templates and ensure that client forms are databased accurately
  • Take minutes at meetings as required
  • Participate in PAC-UK internal staff meetings/training and other PAC-UK activities and assist in the administration of such activities, as required.
  • Carry out or participate in all such other tasks and activities compatible with the nature of the post as shall furtherthe work of PAC-UK.

Salary:£21,734

Working hours:35 hours per week

Holidays:Leave entitlement for this post is 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays, pro rata

Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract with thepossibility to extend or make permanent.
