- AVANTE ACCESSIBILITY KEYBOARD with four “shaped” spatially separated, raised keys for ease of usage with or without previous exposure to a keyboard.
- Positive read back of choice upon selection.
- Ability to navigate forward and backward during the selection process in any contest.
- Ability to review and change selections before casting vote.
- Read back of the paper audit trail.
- ALL alternate languages are supported.
Visually impaired voter and without use of fingers /
- The spatially separated physically SHAPED KEYS are at each corner and at least 2 inches apart for ease of use even without fingers.
Visually impaired and/or
quadriplegic voter /
- Sip-and-puff interfaces with the AVANTE ACCESSIBILITY KEYBOARD to control the “SELECTION” and “CAST BALLOT” keys. The choices of any contest will be repeated if no selection is made within a preset time frame.
- Positive read back of each choice upon selection.
Deaf or hard of hearing voter /
- Detailed written instruction and messages on screen and printed instructions available onsite for each voting unit.
Deaf or hard of hearing & Visually impaired /
- Need special transducer-sensory device that the voter uses normally.
- The spatially separated physically RAISED KEYS are at each corner and at least 2 inches apart for ease of use.

- Paper records are also available in alternate languages.
