Youth Worker Main Club
Reports to: Windsor Program Coordinator
Basic Function of Position: To design, develop and deliver a wide variety of activities and services that reflects the Mission and the Core Values of the Agency.
Basic overall function of position relating to organization: To enrich the lives of children and youth in the Agency’s catchment areas, by providing a diverse and challenging program that enhances their personal growth and development.
Required education, previous experience, skills, knowledge.
Must hold a degree or diploma in the Human Service Field or working toward it.
Previous experience working with children / youth.
Able to obtain a Class “F” licence (if over the age of 25).
Certified in CPR / First Aid.
High Five Certified & provide a criminal records check
Knowledgeable about community resources, office procedures and software packages.
Position Responsibility:
Objectives / responsibilities of position (these are the objectives that should be rated on the performance appraisal).
1)  Assist in the identification of needs and interests of children and youth.
2)  Design, organize and deliver a diverse program of educational, recreational, social, vocational, health and counselling activities at the Windsor Club.
3)  Design the program to be delivered through; workshops, classes, clinics, tournaments, schedules, and special events.
4)  Promote and encourage participation by members and the general public in program and facility use.
5)  Supervise areas on a rotation basis. Report major discipline, injuries and or behavioural problems to the Windsor Program Coordinator.
6)  Maintain all program facilities, physical resources and equipment in keeping with health and safety standards.
7)  Assist with fundraising activities as necessary.
8)  Keep building looking clean & change bulletin boards when needed.
9)  Attend training sessions.
10) Provide clerical and administrative support for programs and services.
11) Be familiar with office software packages.
Position is 15 - 22 hours per week. (afternoons & evenings)
