Former Area Port Director, Ms. Ana Hinojosa, was selected as the Director, Field Operations for CBP in El Paso, Texas. This PIN is an introduction to the new Area Port Director, Judson W. Murdock, II.
On August 31, 2008, Mr. Judson W. Murdock, II assumed the responsibility of Area Port Director for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. He will oversee CBP operations at the Texas ports of Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Midland, Lubbock, Amarillo and the Oklahoma ports at Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
Previously, Mr. Murdock was the Assistant Port Director for Passenger Operations for CBP at the Port of Detroit, Michigan where he had operational oversight for all activities in the passenger environment. Prior to his selection as Assistant Port Director, Mr. Murdock was a Chief CBP Officer in the Port of Hidalgo, Texas. As a Chief, Mr. Murdock oversaw the Port of Hidalgo’s passenger operations, the Anti-Terrorism Contraband Enforcement Team, and training section. Mr. Murdock was also a Program Manager at CBP Headquarters in Washington D.C., where he managed several major programs within the Office of Field Operations.
Mr. Murdock began his career with CBP and U.S. Customs as an Inspector in El Paso, Texas and is a veteran of the U.S. Army in which he served as a Medical Specialist.
