Hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday season and Santa brought all that you wished for.

We start a new year of by apologising the GALA DAY planned for 18th of January has been postponed to later in the year. Date to be confirmed

We have advised all the invited parties in order to give them more time to organise their club as well as ours.

Regarding the quad series that the committee has been working on with CoffsHarbour, Gunnedah and Tamworth

The dates at this stage are

APRIL 13TH PORT MACQUARIE

A double points round for Coffs members towards their club point score

AUGUST 17TH COFFS HARBOUR

Double points round fro Port Macquarie members towards their club point score

NOVEMBER 22RD GUNNEDAH

NOVEMBER 23RDTAMWORTH

Reminder if we want to organise accommodation for the “Over the Hill” (Tamworth & Gunnedah) rounds the committee will try and negotiate a rate for bulk bookings

Series Regs are still being finalised and they will be put on the website as soon as they have been signed off by the State Office

Dates for the Junior Challenge have been changed.
Round 1 – June 1st (changed date)
Round 2 – August 10th
Round 3 – October 19th (changed date)
Series Regs will be much the same as previous

SOCIAL NEWS

The Christmas party was a huge success with many thanks to the committee for organising of food and drinks

The Aussie raffle was one by a local lady from Port Macquarie. She was so excited when I spoke to her and told her of her win.

Thanks to Glenda and Katie for delivering the prize to her. She and her extended family were most delighted and excited about the sharing out of the contents

Many thanks to Katie, Rusty and Glenda for the majority of organisation that was put into this raffle. Thanks to all other members and committee that assisted in obtaining donations to the raffle.

Thanks to Katie, Rusty and Glenda for spending a Sunday at SettlementCity selling Raffle tickets. Thanks to Brian McRae for the loan of his trailer to transport the wheelbarrow to and from SettlementCity

Extra Thanks to all members who sold tickets. The club made near on $1000 from the raffle and look forward to making it even bigger and making more money at Christmas this year.

Should anyone have items to donate for this years Christmas raffle remember it is never to early to start.

The members and friends that attended had their “Holiday Fix for Speed” by having a few quick laps of the track

2013 saw the committee submitting a proposal to hold 2014 “State Titles” Sadly we missed out this time

The clubs financial position was in the black (that’s good)

The committee wishes to thank all those members that helped with working bees in 2013 and hope that more members try to help in 2014

Please see check the website regularly for working bees

We are only getting 3 or 4 people at the working bees and they are always the same ones. Please do not leave 2014 up to the same handful of people to keep your sporting club running. Even a spare hour or two does make a difference

Any new members wishing to get more involved please see a committee member for more information on how to assist with the running of your club

No Buy or Swap but that might change as Santa may have delivered a few new Go Karts for Christmas….. Ho Ho Ho
