POP Panel Appeal Review Form

Candidates can lodge a POP Panel Appeal Review. If they wish to submit an appeal review, they must do so in writing within 28 days (35 days for overseas candidates) of the dated POP Panel Result confirmation.

To submit an appeal the candidate must complete the POP Panel Appeal Review form in which they will outline their grounds for an appeal without submitting additional evidence and pay £50 which is refundable for a successful appeal.

If a candidate submits additional evidence it will be treated as a new submission and will not be treated as an appeal and the appropriate fee will be charged.

Once the appeal documentation has been submitted to the Institute, a CIAT POP Panel Moderator will review the appeal application and decide if the appeal is justified. If justified, the Appeal Review Board will assess the submission and make a decision – pass/defer/refer. The Board will consist of a minimum of two members and a maximum of three members, one of which must be a CIAT POP Panel Moderator, who will act as the Chair of the Appeal Review Board. The Board will then make their decision, which is ratified by the Chair of the Appeal Board. The Board’s decision is final and CIAT will not under any circumstances enter into additional correspondence regarding the decision of the Appeal Review Board.
