Meeting Called To Order: 7:04pm
Alternate(s) Seated: Motion made by Judy and seconded by Sue to seat Ann for tonight’s meeting. Motion passed.
Meeting Minutes from October 16, 2013:Accepted as corrected- The Trim-A-Tree event is on Dec 9th.
Citizen Participation:John Carter thanked the commission for the coupons donated for prizes at the Ellis-Con XXV event. The Ellis-Con Advisor also thanked us for the prizes. The Pomfret Sr Ctr was recognized in the printed program. The Historical Society thanked us for prizes donated for the Trivia Contest.
Sally Johnson stated that “Spinal Screenings may not be reliable.
Jeanette Sullivan stated that the center is out of dish detergentand also would like to see events listed in area newspapers and on the radio.
Monique Caron-Krug was asked by Dan Johnson to mention that the entry rug needs replacing. She would like to see bottles of water available at no charge.
Additions to Agenda: Ann would like to add “transportation to the Sr Ctr” added to the agenda. Motion made by Judy and seconded by Sue. Motion passed.
Ann would like to add “Revenue Policy Change” to the agenda. Motion made by Judy and seconded by Rita. Motion passed.
Secretary Report: 2 e-mails were read. One regarding the drop off of yoga mats. Also Garry Brown would like to know what desserts are needed for Dec. The other email was sent by Cheryl Grist regarding a Revenue Policy Change.
Treasurer Report: Treasurer absent. No report.

Old Business:
Weekly Bistro Lunch at PSC in 2014 – Motion was made b Cathy and seconded by Ann that a Bistro Lunch is made available on the first Friday of Jan, Feb and March. Motion passed. Sue will be in charge of Jan lunch.
New Business:
Marketing, brochures, business cards, brochure rack for PSC – Discussion regarding wall rack(s) for brochures.
Ann will research this.
Spinal screenings for January – Cathy and Ann will set this up.
Garry Brown/desserts for holiday party on Dec 10th – Cookies for Dec 9th and cakes for Dec 10th. Judy will notify Garry. Also Judy accepted items from board members and she will assemble gift packages to be given away at the party on Dec 10th.
Transportation to Sr Ctr – There are some Pomfret citizens who would like rides to the Sr Ctr. There will be a list of available drivers posted at the center and also available to the Senior Agents at the Town Hall.
Revenue Policy Change – discussed and explained by Maureen.
Citizen Comments: Monique offered a glass block as a give-away for the party.
Maureen Nichols informed those in attendance about the new Pomfret Web Site and also the Pomfret Senior Center page on Facebook (set up by Sue and Dennis).
