.PVC Newsletter
A White reported on issues with publication of the PVC newsletter. This included lack of contributors, time to get hard copies distributed and no one has come forward to take over as editor of the PVC newsletter once Annie leaves in December. A White recommended that we take up an offer from the editor of the Ashhurst Village Voice to publish Valley articles in the Village Voice.
The committee decided to review all means of communication with the Pohangina Valley Community. This includes the web site, facebook page , PVC Newsletter/Ashhurst Village Voice and the various email mail lists.
G Court/C PullarCarried

Volunteer grasses along the base at the back of the car park, along the track to the top and the edge of the upper terrace was sprayed with ‘roundup’ in early September. Inspection at Labour weekend showed good clearance of weeds with good survival of the July/August planting. Several large purple ‘ragwort’ plants were removed. The lookout is looking good.
