14th annual Prism Concert
Thursday, February 11.
What a great show! Thank you to all who performed, attended, and volunteered to make it a success. We were standing room only once again! The Music Boosters raised over $1000 for The Music Scholarship fund, and collected two huge buckets full of items for the Jared Box Project .

District 10 Jazz Festival
Saturday, February 20, 2pm
Friday and Saturday, February 19-20 the Pocono Mountain East High School hosted the District 10 Jazz festival. This festival welcomed 23 kids from 14 schools including-Reading, Kutztown, Muhlenburg, East Stroudsburg North, East Stroudsburg South, Stroudsburg, Delaware Valley, Oley Valley, Shenandoah Valley, Lehigh Valley Charter of the Performing Arts, Easton Area, Emmaus, Pocono Mountain West and Pocono Mountain East High Schools. The guest conductor was Dr. Josh Davis, Director of Jazz Studies at Susquehanna University.

Character Breakfast for Into the Woods
Saturday, March 5 (snow date 3/12)
Into The Woods character pancake breakfast at the Pocono Mountain East High School café.
Admission is $5 per child, $7 per adults.
Time will be 8:30-11:30am and guests will be able to interact with the characters.
There will also be sneak peek performances of the main characters.
Guests will have opportunity to take pictures on the green screen with cast members for $3.00.
This is a fundraiser to help with costume and set costs.
All students involved with the musical will be assigned donations of food ingredients necessary and will be there to help serve, set up, etc. But the boosters will also need some parents to help with cooking & serving. We also need to borrow some items such as griddles, mixing bowls, ladles, etc. The sign up genius link to help or lend items is . We also have a link to RSVP if you plan on attending the breakfast. It isn’t necessary to sign up, but this will help us have an idea of how many people to expect. The link to RSVP is . You can also buy tickets for the play at the breakfast.
Into the Woods
April 8, 9, 10
The musical will be held Friday, April 8 at 7:00 pm, Saturday, April 9 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 pm at the Pocono Mountain east High School Auditorium
There will be a cast celebration pot luck dinner after the show on Sunday. We will need volunteers to donate food and/or to help serve.

The marching band attends and plays at half time and in the stands. Anyone that wants to go to the game can pre-purchase ticket with an order form that Mr. Eick will send out. The boosters will get a small amount of the ticket sales for the general fund.

Located on the Pocono Mountain East Swiftwater campus.

Music Over the Mountain Bandboree (fall 2016)
Mr. Eick would like to bring back Music Over the Mountain.
A show – not any set circuit.
Individual band performances and possibly get 4 or 5 bands together to do one mass stand still performance.
