Plus or Minus Accounting Firm Profile

Internal Sales Competition Buyer Profile (Round 1)

The Situation:

While at your friend’s lake house, you meet her uncle, Bobby Fee. You have met Bobby before but this past weekend you spent some time with him and learned he is the partner at the second largest accounting firm, Plus or Minus. He works out of the downtown Detroit location. It came up in conversation that you were a copier representative. He immediately laughed and said what a coincidence we are actually getting ready to replace the copiers at work. The machines are a little older and are starting to break down sporadically. He said the past few months have been a mess. It was busy season and at the worst times the copier would jam. They were up all night working, and the last thing they needed was for the copier to break down. The lousy copiers made the nights much longer. It was a pain to use these copiers. It almost delayed the filing of the 10K financial statements because they were unable to get them printed for the earnings release call. He said he was so anxious to get the copiers replaced that he would set up an appointment with the firm’s Head of Administrative Operations, Kelly Karcashian.

He told you that Kelly was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He received his Bachelors of Accounting and Finance degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in 1992. He received his CPA in 1993 and obtained his MSA (Masters of Science and Accountancy) in 1999. With 15 years with Plus or Minus, Kelly Karcashian runs all of the administrative operations at Plus or Minus headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.
