Using ICT we will learn about algorithms. / We will understand what algorithms are; how they are implemented as programs on digital devices; and that programs execute by following precise and unambiguous instructions
We will create and debug simple programs and use logical reasoning to predict the behaviour of simple programs.
The children will create their own algorithms and programme Bee-Bots using these algorithms.

-Identify and name a variety of everyday materials, including wood, plastic, glass, metal, water, and rock
-Describe the simple physical properties of a variety of everyday materials
-Compare and group together a variety of everyday materials on the basis of their simple physical properties.
As Designers we will design and make our own simple toys from the past. / We will design and make our own simple toy from the past. This will allow us to understand how toys have changed within living memory.
Design- design a purposeful, functional and appealing product for themselves and other users based on design criteria.
Make- select and use a range of materials
Evaluate- explore and evaluate their product.
As Mathematicians we will:
•  know and use numbers up to 40.
•  add and subtract.
•  recognise shapes and patterns.
•  use measures.
•  recognise and know the value of money. / See Singapore maths planning for further detail.
Thinking spiritually we will learn about Christianity and God. / “Why do Christians baptise their infants?”
We will learn about the importance of baptism for many Christians by understanding the meaning of belonging by putting it into the context of our own lives. We will also learn about the symbolism of the candle and the cross during baptism.
