SACSSA JUNIOR 7-A-SIDE RUGBY TOURNAMENT
SACSSA will be offering a Junior 7-a-side Rugby Tournament.
Date
This Tournament will take place on Saturday 19 May. It is important to take note that this is the same day as the Junior Netball, but not the same venue.
Venue
The venue is Alma Mater Academy in Krugersdorp, which is the same venue as in 2017.

Please make very sure that you enter the GPS Co-ordinates in the format as shown above.
Entries
Regional Teams may be entered or teams may be entered by Individual Schools. It is however important that teams are properly prepared for the Tournament.
Age Groups
Team can be entered in the age groups Boys 9, 11, 13.
Rules
We will follow IRB 7’s rules with rolling subs. A maximum of 12 players, 7 on the field and 5 substitutions. All players must play with a mouthguard according to the IRB rules.
Deadline Date
All entries must reach the SACSSA National Office, on or before Wednesday 9May.
Entry Fee
The Entry Fee is R750.00 per team for Full Members.
R1500.00 per team for Associate Members.
Payment
Schools will be invoiced, by the SACSSA bookkeeper.
All fees must be paid into your own Regional Account and must be made on or before Thursday 17 May.

Detailed Programme
A detailed programme will be worked out, once all entries have been received.
Medals and Trophies
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each age group and trophies to the winning teams.
Referees
Alma Mater Academy will provide referees. Any other Boksmart qualified referees must please enter their names on the Entry Form.
Team Managers
Each team needs to supply a team manager/coach.
Team List Form
Included, please find a Junior 7-a-side RugbyTeam List Form, which must be handed in by the Team Manager, one hour before the Tournament starts.
Boksmart Qualification
It is important to note that all officials involved in rugby must be qualified as Boksmart Officials.
