Learning Objectives

Please find the Learning Objectives and their mapping for the NITE PMP® Exam Preparation Course. The expected outcome for the content taught is mentioned in the “NITE PMP Course Content- Breakup-Contact Hours-Expected Outcome” document, though what is done to ensure the objectives are met is still mentioned in this document, which goes along with the “NITE PMP Organizational Handbook” presentation.

How objectives are met: The objective list below is handed to each participant. The participant can then know what is expected to be learnt as the course progresses. At the end of each topic, quizzes are conducted. The student does self-evaluation based on the quizzes, as well as other assignments that are included in the course material itself. The instructor also participates in the review of the quizzes and exercises to ensure that any doubts are clarified. So, every topic’s objectives are upfront presented, discussed, evaluated and clarified, before moving to the next.

Audience: All students must go over this procedure above.

Behavior: The learner should participate in the practice quizzes and should participate in assignments as part of the course material.

Conditions: Assignments through quizzes and other exercises in the class must be completed by the participant to learn the techniques. This includes EVM, EMV, Sample WBS, Critical Path and such topics.

Degree: Participant should be able to get at least 60% results in the quizzes on an average (self-assessment) and should be able to explain the exercises completed when asked randomly.

Each student gets a self-assessment form to document their performance and learning. This is included as “PMP Course Learning Outcome & Evaluation” in the folder submitted to PMI.
