Quantitative mineral analyses of major and selected trace elements in carbon-coated thin sections were obtained with a JEOL JM-6400 electron microprobe at the Servicio General de Microscopía Electrónica of the University of Madrid. The operating conditions were as follows: 15 kV acceleration voltage; 10 nA beam current; and 4 m beam diameter. Calibration was performed using native metals and natural minerals as well as synthetic standards. Akeas: Albite-K-feldspar episyenite with abundant sulphide ore; Aess: albite episyenite with scarce sulphide ore; b.d.l.: below detection limit; -: not determined
