Subject: URGENT NOTICE

Dear All,

Please excuse the fact that I am going to address several issues in one mail. Consider all of these as of the utmost importance.

1.Resignation of 4 Directors. Note that Messrs. Anton v.d. Merwe, Alastair wooding, Cliff van Rooyen & Deon Strydom have resigned from Riskcon. In this regard,

a.This will in no way affect the service delivery, and if your clients enquire in this regard, you can assure them that it is business as usual.

b.As they no longer work for Riskcon, they do not have automatic access to the premises and are to be treated as visitors. They are only allowed acces after confirming that they have an appointment with someone there. Further to this, please report immediately to me if they do come to the premises and who they had an appointment with.

c.I shall answer any questions in this regard when next I meet with you.

2.Additional Holiday – 27 Dec ’11. Seeing as the vice president has in his wisdom decided that we should have another public holiday, this raises several issues for us:

a.The long weekend now becomes an EXTRA long weekend, please plan for all your staff to be on standby in case some decide not to pitch for work. Anyone not arriving without a valid reason will be dealt with most severely. A slight over-supply of spare pool will be acceptable. We cannot afford to let service levels suffer at this time.

b.Please discuss immediately with your client that an additional holiday will be charge for. In most cases this will not make much of a financial impact, as there will be less staff – the lesser compliment will be credited while the remainder on site will be charged at public holiday rates. If your client shows any agitation or unhappiness during this discussion, please notify me immediately so that I can deal with him personally.

c.Please find out if your premises will be open, how many persons of various grades (salaried staff separately) will be working as compared to what would have been working an d send me a spreadsheet with the details so that I can summarise this for invoicing purposes.

3.Bonuses. We should have an answer as to the timing of bonus payments soon. As soon as this is communicated, I shall inform you of the decision. This would at this time only apply to staff on wages and NOT salaried staff above the legislated minimum wage. There is NO question as to whether it will be paid, it is only a matter of the timing of the payment.

4.Workmens Compensation and UIF Contributions. The rumours about these contributions not having been paid at times is true. Since 2009, the contributions were however correctly dealt with and regularly paid. This does however mean that the company has to repay an amount of R 5.2m. An amount of R 3m has already been paid, which leaves another R 2.2m. The company will do so, but it will obviously take time to resolve. Please communicate this with the utmost care and only as and where your good judgement dictates that it is absolutely necessary. It is obviously not something the company as an entity is proud of, but we are doing the right thing and no-one should be adversely affected apart from the short term cashflow for the business.

5.Promotions. As some of you are already aware, promotions must be done “future dated”, allowing enough time for the processing of documents in this regard. Should the person be placed in the interim due to operational requirements, a pay query must be done for the period the person was standing in prior to the promotion going into effect.

Should you have any questions regarding the above matters, please phone me immediately.
