VCU Massey Cancer Center was highlighted in at least 73 media clips throughout the month of August. Steven Grant, M.D., was featured for a preclinical study testing an experimental combination therapy for non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Seth Corey, M.D., provided expert commentary on a breakthrough gene therapy to treat blood cancer; HetalVachhani, M.D., discussed chemotherapy treatment options; Jessica Gray, R.N., was interviewed about a new palliative care facility dog at Massey; and Gordon Ginder, M.D., provided expert commentary on Massey’s NCI designation. Also this month, Massey received coverage for a partnership to raise awareness for metastatic breast cancer research, and for hosting a an educational conference on HPV vaccinations.
