EDEN BREWERY VISIT: Roger Bayley (and Jacqui) organised a great social night last Wednesday, 30 August, at the relatively new Eden Brewery in Mittagong. 18 Rotarians and friends were able to attend and had a wonderful time, beginning with a fine meal of fish and chips. Those with mature tastes really appreciated the different varieties of beers and ales that are now being brewed there. A paddle of several brews revealed quite distinctive styles, with some Rotarians preferring ales, although all of them were memorable up to a point. It was an early night as last drinks are served at 8.00pm, but we all appreciated the opportunity to learn a little more from the Brewer, Jacob (a Texan).
