1 On-the-Job Training refers to structured and planned learning that take place at the place of work and involves performing day-to-day work tasks. There must be a structured OJT blueprint or curriculum (showing the key OJT tasks and corresponding OJT training hours) to conduct the training.

2 Practical /practicum training refers to structured supervised training carried out in a controlled environment outside the workplace that allows trainees to have supervised practical application of the training.

Part 8 Important Note

  1. The ATO shall develop the courseware in accordance to the course proposal upon accreditation.
  1. The following changes made to an accredited course proposal will warrant a submission to SSG for re-accreditation.
  2. Changes in delivery mode (i.e. classroom, e-learning and workplace learning), or
  3. Changes in assessment methods, or
  4. Reduction or increase in course duration by more than 50% of RLH (where applicable).
  1. The ATO shall ensure commencement of course by the expected course start date indicated in Part 7 of this form.
  1. According to the WSQ Adult Educator qualifications requirements, ATO is to ensure that at least 80% of its trainers/assessors meet the qualifications requirements, i.e. WTP for in-house / ACTA for public or its equivalent. ATO is also to ensure that 100% of its developers meet the qualifications requirements, i.e. ACTA for in-house / DACE for Public or its equivalent. Failure to meet the qualifications requirements may result in a lapse of the ATO status.
